Everything you need to know about cleansers!

We'll be the first to admit, there are A LOT of different cleansers on the market! It can be quite overwhelming choosing a formula that works best for your skin type, we're here to take away some of the confusion and help you meet your match.

Some of the most important things to consider when choosing a cleanser are:

1. Your skin type and current conditions

2. The active ingredients you need to reach your goals

3. The consistency of cleanser you like (eg. foamy, creamy)

Let's dive in to a few of the most common types of cleansers, the skin types and conditions each of them are good for and the active ingredients inside them!

Skin Types/Conditions- Red, rosacea, dry/dehydrated, sensitive skin.

These exfoliating cleansers are amazing for a number of skins including ageing, rough and flakey skin. They often feature AHA's which provide a gentle yet thorough exfoliation of any dead skin cells. By exfoliating the skin, you are able to reveal a fresh, smooth complexion which provides an anti-ageing effect. We generally recommend that you only use these cleansers 2-3 times a week to ensure you don't over exfoliate.
